Town of Troutman's Clerk - Kimberly (Kim) H. Davis.

The Town Clerk is the duly sworn keeper and custodian of all Town records and public documents, and serves as the official Clerk to the Mayor, Town Board and other Town Boards and Committees, all of whose meetings the Clerk must attend and take minutes.

Town Board meetings mean preparing full information packages for all parties involved, including public notice of the agenda, and public hearings, keeping meeting minutes, and archiving them afterwards.

Kim keeps track of Town business.  She supervises utility billing, banking, and daily accounts, cashiering, collections and the town calendar and sign.  She produces paperwork for new projects and new business which must be duly executed, signed, sealed and given over in a timely manner.

Originally from Cherryville, Kim and husband 'Ted' Davis settled just outside Troutman in 1989, when things were a bit quieter.  They have one son, Bryan. Ted, Kim and Bryan enjoy taking their pontoon boat out on Lake Norman, Kim sings and husband Ted plays drums in the Contemporary Music Group at Holy Trinity Church in Troutman.

Kim took on the role of Town Clerk in January of 2005, after two decades of employment with First Charter Bank, (originally Lincoln Bank).
