The Troutman Police Department now offers Online Crime Reporting for miscellaneous and minor crimes or incidents through the City of Troutman's website.

The following miscellaneous incidents and minor incidents may be reported. You will be guided through the steps to report a crime having to do with:

* Damage to personal property less than $1,000.00 value
* Harassing phone calls
* Larceny of property less than $1,000.00
* Lost Property
* Vandalism

Please have the following information ready to report:

* Name of victim or business
* Your name, date of birth, address, phone number and driver's license or ID number
* When and where the incident occurred
* An explanation of what happened
* List of items that were lost, stolen or damaged and their value
* Serial numbers and description of items
* Owner information
* Any information on a suspect and why they should be considered a suspect
