Finance

The goal of the Finance Department is to manage the monies of the Town of Troutman efficiently and safely, according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principals and the laws of the State of North Carolina. This includes the general fund, and the utility fund, as well as various capital funds for projects such as the new library, street paving, or water and sewer expansion.

Finance is responsible for the paying of vendors as well as employees, investment of idle funds, development of the annual budget, and reporting to various state and federal agencies.
